Smart Grid: Technological marvel or potential boondoggle?
| LET'S FINISH THE JOB! Remember, on March 31, CEMC will hold an election for six Board of Director seats. Only two incumbents are running. Let's make it a clean sweep for new faces. See ELECTIONS for details. |
UPDATE. MDJonline reports that the two hold-out supporters for Plant Washington were Johnny Gresham and David McGinnis. Gresham, like Dwight Brown, apparently is close to Dean Alford, whose firm got a no-bid contract to build PW. Gresham is one of only two of the remaining six incumbent directors seeking re-election on March 31. McGinnis has announced he will not seek re-election. In 2009, McGinnis’ Marietta home was among the sites raided by the GBI as part of the Cobb District Attorney's search for evidence of crminal wrongdoing in CEMC--the same investigation which led to Brown's indictment on 35 counts of racketeering and fraud. |
